I have been reading the Tarot cards for around forty years! I am now a certified Jungian Tarot reader and in the past I have read Tarot for writers such as Monique Roffey, Kate Mosse, Kathryn Heyman, Louise Doughty and Jenny Knight. My Tarot readings can help you at any stage in your writing. It doesn’t matter if you know a great deal about Tarot, or nothing at all – we can usually discover so many things, together. We might unlock writers’ block, address a fear of failure, or a fear of success; uncover plot holes – they all appear in a reading, along with creative and surprising solutions suggested for them, too.
All sessions are one hour, conducted on zoom, and cost £300, payable in advance of a session.
Suggestions for the sort of thing you might like to ask the cards.
Who you are as a writer and your challenges. What is making you feel stuck or preventing you from continuing? Is it you, your writing practice, or the novel? How to use the cards to suggest ways forward. Ask any question you like of the cards (and me) and together we’ll try to figure it out.
You could also ask about plot, the novel or short story, or script. What can Tarot tell you about it and your feelings and energy around writing? Is it an issue of character (Cups) story (Wands) setting (Discs, Pentacles) or themes (Swords)?
Ask about story, themes. What is my novel’s desire? Who is my protagonist? What is under-lying this? The shadow. The unconscious. Answers to the questions above that go deeper. And the same kinds of discoveries for your character!
All will become clear! Are you working against your natural gifts as a writer? Is the form you’ve chosen wrong for you? What would help you most to achieve your dreams?
